EU PR Manager - Gaming - Ireland

As part of that growth, the company has an immediate opening for an EU PR Manager to run the European PR efforts for current products, future products and corporate PR. The EU PR Manager is responsible for securing press coverage, generating buzz and building relationships with both traditional and online media outlets. The EU PR manager will also create and execute PR plans designed to generate interest around key events and titles, be proactive in developing local initiatives and support the expansion for their current smash product in new European territories.
Requirements:
*4 years in Public Relations in the video games industry
*Established relationships with editorial staff of PC gaming publications
*Strong written and verbal skills
*Experience in working with agencies and third party companies
*Bachelor's degree in communications, business management, marketing or other related degree
*Ability to conceive, plan and execute strategic and creative PR initiatives
*Must have strong self-management skills, a high level of organization and be results oriented
*Requires frequent travel
*Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced highly dynamic environment
*Passion for video games
*Fluent in English. Additional foreign language is a plus
Responsibilities:
*Define and execute the EU PR strategy and keep consistency with the global strategy
*Direct strategic development and implementation of European brand-building initiatives for current and future titles
*Be proactive and autonomous in developing local initiatives and events in Europe
*Support the expansion of current title in new EU territories by planning dedicated PR strategies
*Manage the relationship with our PR agency
*Lead and organize event activities with our PR agency such as media tours, media events and trade shows like Gamescom
*Oversee media monitoring, influencer tracking, coverage analysis and results reporting
*Oversee the development, editing and approval of press releases, media alerts, press kits, Q&A's, interviews and other essential communications documents
*Identify and report on digital/social media trends, tactics and technologies; develop strategic and tactical recommendations to inform public relations programs
*Coordinate initiatives with marketing, community, production and other internal groups
*Grow and deepen company relationships with editorial publications, bloggers, and other media outlets
*Work and synchronize with the PR Manager in North America
