Qualifications and Required Experience *University degree in Computer Science , IT or similar. *At least one significant work experience in online technical problem solving *Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus *Proven analytical / problem solving ability *Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and oral *Demonstrated ability to lead and manage initiatives to completion. *Proven ability to work with the team to quickly and calmly resolve technical issues. *Solid understanding of internet technologies including browsers, networking, firewalls & proxy servers *Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly. *Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. *Required to be flexible, detail oriented and organized with the ability to multitask. *On-call availability (see below) *Flexible schedule, including evening, weekends and a rotating on-call shift *Fluent in Japanese *English reading, writing and speaking skills. Technical Experience *Strong technology background with a comprehensive knowledge of iOS and Android native applications and network based products *Proficient in web-based technologies, including HTML, XML, FTP, JavaScript, and Adobe Flash *Familiarity and working knowledge with Objective-C and/or Java and API developer support experience *Familiarity and working knowledge with rich media applications *Meaningful experience with online video and of video encoding applications is a plus *Exposure and working knowledge in at least one other programming language including Java, PHP, or .Net is a plus.

Key skills and requirements *Excellent customer service and customer facing skills, developed in at least one internship/professional position including customer on-site software/hardware/web applications training and workshops. *The ability to communicate with clients possessing all levels of technical understanding , in this case this can range from drivers through to internal IT technicians and executive level VPs. *Attention to detail and a flexible approach to problem solving- prior experience in technical support on software and web solutions is a big benefit for this. *Developed PC skills particularly with MS Windows, MS Office, MS Excel. Working knowledge of SQL querying is beneficial. *Experience with Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN ) and networking protocols is beneficial. * Experience in client reporting with preparation of monthly reports using Agility or Insight is beneficial *Highly motivated with an enthusiasm for ensuring customer success and ultimately delivering a solution that will improve driver and road-user safety. *Analytical and able absorb often complex information regarding customer requirements and training needs to produce effective solutions and workshops. *A self-motivated , flexible attitude *Willingness to travel regularly mainly within the UK but also occasionally to other countries in the EMEA region.
