Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Internationally renowned, this company constructs superior and bespoke branded products that are marketed through their network of independent representatives. They work within the health, wellness and fitness industries, where they use their expertise and collaborative skills to create toxic-free products that help promote a healthy life style. This position is based here in London, they also have a presence globally and they are looking to grow their European market.

A Regulatory Affairs Specialist provides global regulatory support to various projects and products. This position includes writing, coordinating, and submitting international product registrations. This individual will also be providing labelling and marketing material review and approval. This position requires the individual to work with several departments including Product Development, Quality, Operations, and Marketing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for product registration in international markets.
-Work with Product Development, Quality and Purchasing to get relevant documents for registration.
-Ensure regulatory compliance for the company's products.
-Work on the development of product claims for labelling and marketing materials in applicable markets.
-Monitor registrations and regulatory changes in markets to ensure product's compliance.
-Work with cross-functional teams working on the registrations of products in foreign markets.
-Monitor and maintain regulatory files and the status of existing products in assigned markets.
-Work with project managers to advise on product registration viability and time lines.
-Obtain essential documents and prepare regulatory master files for product registration.
-Report directly to V.P. of Regulatory Affairs/Product Development and Manager on a regular basis on project status.

Skills and Qualification:
-Bachelor's of Science, preferably in food science, nutrition, or related field.
-Minimum 2 years industry experience in product registration/regulatory affairs.
-Proven ability to communicate with non-scientific personnel.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, including strong organizational skills.
-Ability to multi-task multiple projects
-Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
-Some international travel required.
