Category Leader - Technology and Services

Formed over 15 years ago by a group of Franchise Managers this organisation enables its members to benefit from discounted group purchases. With close to 5000 Franchises throughout Europe there is a large client base with extensive purchasing power.

To work as part of the Purchasing Team you will be responsible to drive the new Category based strategy focusing on the purchasing of Technology, including Point of Sales, Payment systems, Telecoms and Music Licensing.

Your Responsibilities
As the Category Leader for the Category of Technology and Services your role is to maximise value for the client in order to maximise their Profitability.

You be tasked with identifying Franchisee needs across a large region including Germany, The Nordics and The Netherlands. You will work on 2 to 3 Categories per quarter to really add value to the Franchisee’s.
 
You will analyse usage across your Franchisee Customer Base and ensure return on investment for them.

Based on your research you will manage the tender process and ensure the best suppliers across the region.

Your Category includes Technology, Telecoms, WiFi, Point of Sales and Music Licensing in store.

Your Profile
You will be a seasoned Purchasing Manager ideally coming from a background of purchasing Services such as Telecoms and WiFi or Music Licensing or Technology. But this is not essential.

You will have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to see each process through from start to finish.

Excellent relationship management skills are essential, you need to work closely with suppliers but also to have open communication with Franchisee Clients in order to provide accurate analytics and flow of information.

You will be coming from a Purchasing background and be looking for a company where you can learn and develop your career. Experience is essential but there are excellent learning opportunities.

Fluency in English and German Language Skills essential.
