I am recruiting on behalf of a leading, global organisation who are specialists in their field. For their Market Data team they are looking for an experienced Sales Specialist who will continue their growth within the German speaking region.
With a background in Sales of Cloud Based or Data Technology within Financial Services or a Corporate Environment you will be looking to join a company who has a globally recognised brand. You will be a target driven individual who has the ability to build relationships with existing clients as well as develop new business.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Specialist will work to target across the German speaking region. You will on a day to day basis
- Hunt for new business through lead follow up and targeted account prospecting
- Generate new opportunities within the German speaking region
- Educate prospects on new technologies to address their ongoing business needs
- Understand who the key decision makers are in each organization and discuss relevant business challenges with them
- Develop and execute a focused sales plan within your territory
- Work closely with Investor Relations professionals, Finance Directors, CFO’s and Corporate Advisors within your client organization.
- Continuously monitoring the market for evolving customer requirements
You will have a proven track record in a Business Development role and be passionate about developing client relationships.
- Experience of selling at a senior level and mapping business requirements across an organization
- Ability to successfully turn prospects into solid business contacts within both a Financial and Corporate Environment
- Solid understanding of Financial Markets and the Corporate Landscape
- Previous experience selling technology in a target driven environment
- The ability to manage the sales cycle from initial introduction to closing the deal.
- Fluent German and English is essential
