Properties Manager

Would you like to work for a global player? Our client is a global professional services firm with offices in 35 countries. To strengthen their team they are currently hiring a Facilities Manager responsible for the DACH Region.

 

Facility Manager - DACH Region(w/m)

Frankfurt

As the new Facilities Country Manager you will be your responsibility to manage the facility teams in Germany and Austria. You will be providing support programs and services for your colleagues to enable them to work productively and efficiently. Your focus will be on office space, work environment, maintenance, reception, on-site meeting support and food services, print, post, safety, and security etc.


The role:

  • Lead and Develop Strategies in alignment with the clients roadmap to achieve operational excellence; ensure the ongoing implementation of strategies
  • Oversee the development of annual budgets consistent with the strategic plan and the company’s objectives
  • Oversee and support an effective staff structure to ensure services meet contract requirements
  • Oversee the development of relevant policies, procedures and systems to manage activities effectively and efficiently to ensure compliance nationally
  • Engage directly with key business unit leader and industry partners to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to support sustainable practises
  • Contribute to corporate and operational risk mitigation strategies


Your profile:

As the new Facility Manager you will have prior experience in a similar facilities management role and/ or a customer facing operational environment role. As you will be working for an international company, you should have a good level of English next to your fluent German. 

Other requirements are:

  • Competence in Facility Management, real estate, procurement, office support operations
  • Excellent leadership and people management
  • Coaching, training and motivational skills
  • Change management competences
  • Budget management, analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience with influencing and impacting stakeholders such as top management, work council, line managers
  • Degree or formal qualification in facilities management or a related subject
  • Fluent German and good English knowledge
