As Key Account Development Manager you will be responsible for nurturing and growing key accounts 80% of the time and generating new business only 20% of the time as you will be supplied with warm leads from day one from the sales team. So this is a 80% farming (nurturing/growing) and 20% hunting (new business via the commercial direct channel) position. You will be nurturing the account via renewals and general client care and also growing the accounts through "usage" (number of people using the software network) as well as growing the accounts by adding products to the relevant license.
Responsibilities and activities:

*Experience of technical sales, consultative software licensing is highly desireable but not absolutely necessary.
*Sales experience, up and cross selling strongly desired
*Occasional travel to France
*A genuine interest in Science or Mathematics is an absolute must, educational background in these fields also desirable.
