Software Support Analyst

Euro London Appointments is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an established, internationally recognized organisation supporting ,with their innovative technologies, the transportation and automotive industries.

Our client is offering the opportunity to join their expanding support team based in the Wiltshire area. The environment is often fast-paced and ever-changing as our client operates in a competitive market where innovative software is constantly being developed, to adapt to the changing needs of an increasingly important security , finance and environmentally conscious industry.

Responsibilities include :

*Providing First and Second Line Technical Support on bespoke software to my client's customers, ensuring a rapid response time to the end-user.

*Acting as the technical liaison between the Support Team, the Sales Team and the Design Team.

*Occasionally providing on-site support in the UK and wider Europe and technical training for customers in order to efficiently resolve technical issues.

*Performing testing and validation of new software releases, providing technical feedback to the design authority as required.

*Working with Network and Support departments internationally to troubleshoot problems including servers and web servers.

*Participating in occasional on-call duties if required.


The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes and skills :


*A degree in a technical discipline ( Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar)
*High motivation with a pro-active approach towards resolving customer problems
*Experience of providing support on specialist software applications
*Excellent communications skills with fluency in English and French (Spanish is a plus!) The high level of English required is essential as many calls/emailed will be handled English speaking clients in the UK and throughout Europe.

*Attention to detail and a flexible approach to problem solving
*Superior Analytical skills
*Excellent working experience with Windows Operating Systems , especially from Windows 2008 onwards.
*Any experience with Business Intelligence technologies.


The ideal candidate should have had at least one significant experience in a similar client support role.
