Based within reach of the Lake District in Lancashire, you will be working as a Buyer Analyst for a global manufacturer with operations in 28 countries, employing some 27,000 people worldwide. To work as a Buyer Analyst as part of their global procurement team you will have a business related degree, preferably with a 2:1. You will be fluent in French and English and you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Your key responsibilities will include: -Creation and implementation of professional supply contracts, optimising price, payment terms, working capital, warranty, supply chain and legal compliance -Supplier selection, issue tenders, cost analysis and negotiations with suppliers in order to deliver cost savings and support the requirements of the business -Manage monitor and report supplier performance to ensure required standards are maintained -Maintain data integrity within various IS systems including SAP -Work closely with and support Category Teams to provide market analysis, business feedback and implementation of proposed strategies -Support the wider procurement team in a number of reporting and analysis projects. You will be providing direct support to a team based in France who are based in multiple locations.
