We are recruiting 3 Field Service Engineers to take care of Northern-, Western- and Middle Germany and be based from home-offices within those regions.   Field Service Engineer (m/f) – Medical Devices Permanent Position / Home-office (North/ West/ Middle Germany)   As the new Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for the service activities of the medical devices and equipment within your region. Your territory will be ideally either based around Hamburg (Northern Germany), Düsseldorf (Western Germany) or Frankfurt (middle Germany). This will include installation, repair, service, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware and/ or software products. The role is based from a home-office and you will travel to clients on a daily basis. Technical proficiency servicing instruments in the field Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Strong interpersonal and customer satisfaction skills Similar/comparable customer-based laboratory or hospital environment is of advantage Effective Time Management Skills Professional and effective internal and external communication skills Ability to accurately diagnose issues as described over the phone by Field Service Engineers/customers Proficient use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ideally proficient use of diagnostic instrumentation and equipment such as DVMs, Oscilloscopes, Micrometers, etc. Basic knowledge of network and interfacing with the ability to progress though training.
