Business Development Manager - Market Research

Our client is a multinational SaaS consumer insights platform, used by world’s most successful insights companies (market research, media agencies, consultancies).

They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to sell their platform to market research companies on the French market. Candidates must have strong knowledge in the field of market research in France and speak fluent French and English.

 

The role can be based remotely anywhere in France.

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, prospect and secure business opportunities and new revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing a prospect pipeline and for demonstrating products to potential clients. Success will come with converting the pipeline to revenue-generating clients, working with Customer Success for a quick, quality onboarding, and frequently visiting prospects and existing clients to continually grow your territory. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and complete online and/or face to face calls with decision-makers at target accounts.

EU Risk and Compliance Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding global insurtech scale-up. They are looking for an EU Risk and Compliance Manager .

The role can be based either in the Rotterdam office or remotely anywhere in the The Netherlands or based in the Paris office or remotely anywhere in France. Candidates must speak fluent Dutch and English and have sound knowledge of Dutch regulations, IDD and Solvency II regimes.

The company has an insurance distribution hub in the Netherlands, with branches in Ireland, France and Spain. They are also expanding further across the EU. The role will support their recentlyestablished Dutch insurance carrier.

About the role

  • You will support the risk function holder in the implementation and maintaining the risk management framework in the Netherlands and across the EU
  • You will ensure compliance with all the relevant EU regulations, including but not limited to IDD and Solvency II Pillar 2
  • You will play a key role in the functioning of the European insurance distribution hub in the Netherlands and expansion across the EU, through advice and support on day-to-day risk and compliance issues
  • You will develop the European risk framework: identify and manage risks, ensure that the relevant controls are operating effectively, key controls are tested and deficiencies are addressed
  • You will coordinate the key deliverables, including the ORSA, Risk Register, Compliance Monitoring Plan, Risk Event Register, Board packs and policies
  • You will build strong alliances and maintain collaborative relationships throughout the company to promote business engagement in risk and compliance matters
  • You will work closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance, the group Risk and Compliance team, as well as with the senior managers.

 

About you

  • You will have minimum 5 years of exposure to the EU insurance or fintech market, with focus on risk and compliance, especially the IDD and Solvency II regimes
  • You will have particular expertise in the second line of defence, especially Solvency II Pillar 2 (ORSA, risk management framework) as well as compliance with IDD specific general good provisions and other relevant local regulations across the EU
  • You will have knowledge and previous experience of Dutch Regulations
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English

Workday Technical Lead

The initial Workday project has been implemented and now my client are moving on to phase two of the project which entails a two-year project phase of introducing Learning, Talent, Performance, Advanced Compensation and Recruiting across the CE Region.

In CE they will unite a total of eight countries and it is necessary to coordinate the different processes, data processing, topics and challenges of these regions. This also includes the coordination and moderation of the individual stakeholders and project teams.

Supporting the linking of this programme with other local and regional activities to ensure connection and alignment within and outside HR is one of the main challenges of this position.

In this role:

The Regional Workday and Technology Lead will be the first point of contact for all data/Workday related activities for the region. 

They will help support the initiative of the programme through assisting the regional teams with articulating their regional requirements while fostering a globally consistent mindset for design and implementation activities.  The duties include the following:

  • Act as first point of contact for in-country resources for programme-related activities
  • Identify alignment opportunities and support change initiatives associated with Workday and Tech design
  • Coordinate and escalate outstanding issues and questions and responses between region/functional area and programme team
  • Consolidate and coordinate regional responses for workbooks and design, on time and with accuracy – maintain proper version control
  • Participate in relevant design and playback sessions, supporting the programmes global design principles
