Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring in new ideas of infrastructure management to help support and maintain the Client’s platform infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Infrastructure Automation (Vagrant, Ansible, Saltstack, Docker)

  • Very strong knowledge of Linux and networking

  • A deep interest in Open Source technologies

  • Ability to clearly and concisely converse as well as explain to technical and non-technical individuals or groups

  • Excitement and ambition to learn and develop new skills

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting complex issues independently and within a team

  • Strong written and spoken English skills, German language skills preferred

Software Test / Automation Engineer (Newly Create Position)

My client, a global player in web based trading technology is looking for a Software Test / Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team.
 
As a critical member of their QA Division, you will accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of their platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing an automation framework for functional and non-functional test requirements. You will working closely with development and testing teams to create test suites, build / maintain test harnesses and contribute to various quality assurance and testing initiatives.
 
This role reports directly to the Head of IT-Quality & Services.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement automated solution for various testing requirements of the trading platform
  • Play a key role in expanding existing automation capability for increased test coverage
  • Participate in manual test creation / execution as and when required
  • Review and improve existing automation approach
  • Create and maintain test artefacts for regression testing and automation
  • Report test results periodically and provide clarity and transparency in all the deliverables
  • Improve the overall platform quality
  • Collaborate closely with software development, support, project management and business teams
Key Requirements:
  • At least 3years of experience in Java development or building automation frameworks in Java is mandatory
  • CORE JAVA experience is a MUST!
  • Graduate with good, relevant business or technical degree or similar level
  • Preferable experience / knowledge in one of the financial derivatives domains
  • Hands on experience with TestNG or JUnit
  • Ability to perform white-box testing in a Java environment
  • Hands-on experience with server-side automation is mandatory

As an IT Audit Manager, you are to deliver technology-focused audit assignments as part of a wider team, to verify applications (including their development and support) and infrastructure are effectively controlled. You will be part of the bigger global Audit Team, with a focus on the German market.
 
Key Responsibilities
 • Work under the guidance of the Audit Lead to execute planned audits, including preparation of audit scope coverage, fieldwork and testing within the given timeframe.
• Document audit testing using best practices and form conclusions based on the outcome of the testing, including the identification of areas in need of improvement and assisting Technology in the development of an action plan.
• Keeping Internal Audit and functional management fully informed of the progress of all assignments and following-up issues to ensure that all agreed improvements have been actioned.

• Experience of auditing one or more of: operating systems, databases, networks, applications and cloud services
• The ability to use one or more data analytics tools, such as Excel or ACL
• Open to candidates with experience in Risk Management or Risk Control
• Excellent German & English communication skills (oral and written)
