The role:

This role focuses on the development of technical underwriting skills and the eventual assumption of responsibility for small to midsize accounts. The role will also involve processing duties.

  • Assimilate knowledge and capability to understand and underwrite industrial risks
  • Provide technical support to Account Managers including value validation, reinsurance placement, account correspondence, loss management, catastrophe aggregate analysis and cross liability checks, policy issuance among others
  • Work within  Client Service Teams
  • Interact directly with clients, brokers and other offices 
  • Independently manage and process small to midsize accounts under supervision
  • Lead special projects at Client Service Manager and Account Manager discretion

     

Your profile:

  • Bachelor in Insurance / Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Versicherungsfachwirt (m/w), betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder Volljurist (m/w)
  • and 3+ years of work experiences or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong organizational and numeric skills

My client is an American based Events Technology company that are looking for a sales manager to be based in Frankfurt. This role will be a role in which you will be selling to hotels with a particular focus on MICE and event management industry.

 

Your responsibilities

Your day-to-day will rarely be the same as you will be constantly selling and working on different leads but some of your responsibilities will include:

  • New client acquisition in the hotel and event management industry
  • Account management and provision of excellent customer service to existing clients
  • Implementation of sales and marketing strategies
  • Identification and follow up of sales leads
  • Maintenance and actualisation of the CRM systems
  • You will be the ambassador of the company at fairs and events
  • Occasional travel throughout the Rhein Main area

Your new duties and responsibilities

As the Retail Product Marketing Associate you will be responsible for creating, coordinating, executing and maximizing both online and off-line marketing messages and collateral.

Other day-to-day duties will include:

  • Implement and execute marketing campaigns to professional investors for asset management products

Your profile

Ideally you have previous experience in Asset Management however coming from a very data intensive industry such a Pharma or Life Sciences is also an advantage.  The ideal candidate will need to have a hands-on mentality and excellent language skills in order to be able to make complex information user friendly and accessible .

Our client is looking for someone that is pro active and likes to get things done. As you will be working in a highly skilled team – it is a prerequisite that you are a team player.

The ideal candidate should also have the following background

  • University degree in Marketing or similar studies
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar marketing role ideally in the Banking and Finance, Asset Management or Pharma / Life Sciences or another very Intensive Data Driven field
  • Strong team player
  • Very good at multitasking and prior experience in project management
  • Native Level of German is essential and fluent English
