REQUIREMENTS
The role:
They really love their customers, they want them to have the best possible experience. They understand that financial matters can be confusing and frustrating for small businesses, so the Account Managers work hard to understand customers' financial needs and determine how they can most effectively support them in achieving their business goals. The Account Managers are passionate about building and nurturing successful long term relationships with customers based on service and trust. They use relevant data to provide customers with the best possible customer service and create a truly enjoyable customer experience.

Your responsibilities will be to:
1.Be the customer champion
2.Nurture a portfolio of existing customer relationships to achieve long-term customer retention
3.Support customers through the renewal process expediently
4.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with small businesses, helping them achieve their business goals
5.Proactively guide customers through the process and ensure the business exceeds their expectations; effectively addressing customer concerns and issues
6.Liaise with various teams to achieve the best outcome for the customer

In addition, part of your responsibilities will include driving change across the business through rethinking processes and by giving and receiving structured feedback to ensure the business always provides customers with the best possible experience.

You will need:
*A passion for delighting customers - first and foremost - prior experience and proven customer relationship management experience a strong plus.
*Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, in a business related field
*Strong communication & listening skills with excellent telephone manners and a passion for serving customers
*To be proactive, motivated, and metrics-driven: they work in a fast-paced environment
*Good time-management and multitasking skills
*The ability to "think outside the box" to make suggestions that will help improve products, systems and processes
*A proven ability to explain complex products and services to consumers
*Good understanding of business finance and accounting. More importantly you should have an understanding of what makes SMEs tick
*Attention to detail and the ability to spot missing data from a mile away
*Fluency in German to a native level

About me: Originally from Northern Ireland, I have lived in London for 13 years and worked for Euro London for 10 of those. I studied French and Spanish at University, so being able to work with International talent and promote that in the London market was a natural choice for me. When I’m not in the office, I’m exploring what London has to offer. This usually means at the markets or trying out new pubs and restaurants. I’m a foodie so I enjoy eating out a lot. To try and balance this indulgence, I go to the gym and swim (although not as much as I should) and I enjoy playing tennis when Wimbledon fortnight is upon us.

If I was a famous person, I would be: A male version of Maya Angelou – her poems and wise words have always resonated with me
