Business Development Representative

Our client is an international software company working in the field of CRO (conversion rate optimisation), which involves optimising your website and conversion process to get people visiting your homepage to take your desired action, i.e purchase a product/ service, leave their contact details, download a demo etc.

Due to growth in the DACH region, they are now expanding and recruiting a Business Development Representative for the DACH region to join their growing sales team in Berlin.  If you are a looking for an entry level role into sales and business development, this could be the role for you!


Business Development Representative (m/f/d) - DACH

Permanent Position / Berlin


Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Business Development Representative, you will work closely together with the senior sales staff and assist them with the business development. This will include researching and building new and existing accounts, adding new contacts, sending customised emails, as well as strategic calling.

Your clients are medium to large sized companies across different industries. The people you will be connecting with are mainly marketing and communication professionals.  

What you will do:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
  • Lead generation: qualifying cold leads and following up on warm leads
  • Make outbound calls to win new B2B customers
  • Monitor and record sales activities and opportunities in CRM
  • Set up and agree meetings and demonstrations for senior sales staff
  • Work towards daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
  • With time also negotiate and close deals


Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • First experience in a similar tech/ software sales, sales support or customer service role
  • Ideally have an interest in digital marketing
  • Have knowledge or experience in CRO – conversion rate optimisation is of advantage
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Experience in holding presentations to clients
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
