Front End Developer-Gaming-Relocating to Isle of Man

Our client, a gaming company based on the beautiful Isle of Man, is seeking a Front End Developer to assist the teams in developing and maintaining products that are produced and maintained in-house. There is a variety of tasks among the team, and an opportunity to learn new skills and to contribute heavily to a small dynamic team moving forward.

Core Responsibilities:
*Front-end development, development and maintenance for gaming products.
*Research, evaluate and introduce new technologies and solutions, and use technology to improve research and development efficiency.
*Experience in setting up and designing new products, as well as the maintenance and refactoring of older legacy products.
*Taking ownership of the code base, avocation and championing of accepted best development practice.

Core Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a computer science related subject, and will have 2 years' experience in the following:
*Good knowledge of ECMA Script 5 and fully familiar with W3C standards.
*Strong development experience Node.JS technologies, such as Angular or React.
*Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML / HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / Bootstrap.
*Strong experience of developing using a "unit test first" approach.
*Experience of code revision systems such as Git or BitBucket / Subversion.
*Excellent data structure and algorithm design knowledge.
*Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy product architecture.
*Computer science related major, bachelor degree or above.
