Construction Project Manager - National Grid - Swindon

Site Monitoring and Inspections:
Monitoring the principal contractor and sub-contractors on site throughout the construction period to assess progress against the agreed construction programme plan and in adherence site rules, H&S and Environmental Management legislation.
Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance and take necessary action as and when required.
· Treat the equipment and systems on the site with extreme cautiousness, during the whole construction or installation process.
· Facilitate access to the site without delay
· Ability to resolve issues immediately, and also report and escalate timely, effectively and efficiently.

Knowledge and Experience

Good communication skills
Relevant accreditations required: Site Management Safety Training Certificate (SMSTC), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS),
HNC Degree or equivalent in Construction discipline
Project Management qualification / experience
NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational H&S
