Key Account Manager

Our client, a successful generics pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team in Paris. 

Your main responsibility is to sell generic drugs to the retail sector, notably to pharmacies. You will prospect and manage a portfolio of accounts from scratch. 

You will be part of a small team and will report to the Country Manager of France.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Retail business:

  • You will be the driving force behind the creation of the retail business in France.

Sales Strategy: Propose, develop, and support sales strategy for Buying Groups and Wholesalers, taking care of the following:

  • Analysis of opportunities and sales data
  • Sales prospection, drafting of commercial agreements
  • Annual negotiations
  • Benchmark
  • Management of the operational business relationship with Cloud Service Provider

Guarantee Key Accounts turnover according to internal procedures by:

  • Creating action plan accordingly
  • Chasing business partnerships
  • Dealing with wholesalers/buying groups
  • Organizing special events.
  • Dealing with purchase groups

Participate to the construction of the Sales policy of the company by:

  • Develop the sales policies, ensure implementation, and lead it to success
  • Proposing action plans
  • Providing all relevant information
  • Following-up their main competitors

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally selling generic products.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

 

Salary: 60-85K€ basic salary depending on level of seniority + 10-15% in commission + company car

Elle a ensuite travaillé en interne pour le cabinet d’avocats Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer où elle s’est spécialisée en recrutement d’avocats, commerciaux et professionnels du marketing. Revenue au cabinet Euro London en 2011, elle s’est concentrée sur les postes internationaux pour le marché français. Megan est bilingue Français/Anglais.
