Sales Specialist - Life Sciences

Our client is an international manufacturer of microscopes used in the medical industry, in life sciences as well as in industry and education. With over 4.000 employees worldwide, they are now growing their team in Germany and recruiting for a Sales Specialist to look after Northern Germany. The role is based from a home-office and can be located anywhere in Schleswig-Holstein or Niedersachsen.

 

Sales Specialist (m/f) – Life Sciences

Permanent Position / home-office (Schleswig-Holstein & Niedersachsen)

 

As the new Sales Specialist it will be your responsibilities to manage the key accounts within your region and maintain a long-term relationship with them whilst maximising the sales opportunities within the accounts. Alongside the existing client base, you will also develop new business opportunities.

 

Your new responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute business plans for your region
  • Manage and maintain the existing client base whilst prospecting new customers as well as regaining lost customers
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Develop monthly sales forecasts
  • Attend trade shows and events and promote the products to customers
  • Partner with marketing to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales materials

 

Your qualifications and experiences

  • Experience working in a similar sales role managing existing clients as well as developing new business
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of Microscopy, life-sciences, biotechnology, biochemical, biophysics is of great advantage
  • Proven revenue success at managing key accounts
  • Ability to develop long term relationships
  • Very good communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel within your region (valid driver’s licence)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Science or Biology
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Fluent German and a high level of English
