Our client, a leading global healthcare diagnostics organisation , is currently looking for an Electronics focused Production Engineer to play a crucial role in the electronical design transfer to their manufacturing partners for their Ultrasound product range , working in collaboration with their R&D, Quality, manufacturing teams and global suppliers.
Please see below the key responsibilities in this position :
*Responsible for creating and managing of preventive and corrective maintenance plan of our client's testing equipment
*Responsible for testing equipment qualification plan (IQ/OQ/PQ)
*Providing site production support - by troubleshooting and managing non-conformities raised by manufacturing teams based in Asia.
*Take part in the communication between our client's R&D team and suppliers during prototyping, pre-series phase and during products life cycle to ensure manufacturability/serviceability of new designs
*Manage the First Article inspection of electronical parts and assembly
*Participate in Release to production and ECO process
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*An Engineering degree in electronics or related discipline or professional experience in the electronics area in a similar capacity.
*Ability to travel worldwide and to work in an international environment; good level of written and spoken English and French.
*Knowledge of Mechatronic devices, electronic board integration
*Knowledge of Design Transfer process (Engineering to Manufacturing, supplier to supplier)
*Good analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to operate both independently and within a team environment
*A strong understanding of how certain designs could impact on the manufacturing process and troubleshooting such situations when these arise, finding solutions with the manufacturing teams.
*Knowledge of Materials and manufacturing processes (ICT, ELF detection, SMT etc)
*Knowledge of Quality improvement methods (pareto, root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D/DMAIC, AMDEC
*Strong problem solving skills to resolve manufacturing and/or supplier issues
*Experience interfacing with vendors and outside engineering firms
