Euro London Appointments is currently recruiting for a leading Support company based in South East Buckinghamshire and focused on supporting the franchises of one of the world's biggest privately held restaurant chains. The company was set up to provide dedicated support for the franchise stores and offers an excellent opportunity to progress your skills in specialist technologies used by the restaurants , as well as associated infrastructure technologies.
You would be involved in providing support to DACH region and UK customers, logging incidents, resolving basic to complex problems using strong troubleshooting skills, responding in a responsive and timely manner to ensure that the franchises can rely on a high quality of support.
*Using analytical and problem solving skills to resolve issues.
*Providing IN STORE technology support e.g Card payment solutions , POS software /hardware, receipt printers and basic Networking.
*Providing pro-active IT/POS support to the franchisees.
*Keeping all unresolved tickets updated regularly on their case progression .
*Co-ordinating and reporting on the relevant investigative feedback and responses to store staff and franchisees.
*Escalating to more senior team members when required.
*Alerting the necessary parties internally in the event of business critical issues being identified.
*Maintaining an excellent level of customer service ethic at all times.
*Representing the values of innovation, teamwork, honesty, responsiveness and professionalism that are at the heart of our client's business.
*Being available, after your probation period, to work 1 in 4 weekends to attend out of hours critical calls.
Skills and experience required
*IT related experience or background at 1st Line Level or initial experiences working with some of the technologies below and a strong desire to build a career in IT.
*Fluency in German and English, written and spoken. Additional skills in Polish would be beneficial but not essential.
*Previous experience of providing telephone, remote and email based support.
*Technical experience including MS Windows 7/10, printer set-up, installation and configuration.
*Experience working as part of an IT Support team.
*Engaging communications skills.
*Ability to take initiative when required ( after initial training on specialist systems and on the technologies above)
*Ability to adapt your communications to non-technical users.
*Ability to follow procedures.
*Calm under pressure.
*Shows attention to detail.
*Strong problem-solving skills.
