Technical Support Engineer (German speaking)

Euro London Appointments, on behalf of our well respected client in the embedded software compliance and testing sector, is currently recruiting for a skilled German speaking Support Engineer to deliver high-quality post-sales technical support to clients spanning the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Financial Sectors in the German speaking regions of Europe.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, results-oriented, dependable and communicative Support Engineer to join a medium sized and fast-growing international company applying strong communications, analytical and technical skills to a role involving a strong client facing element as well as a good understanding of programming languages (C/C )

Responsibilities.

Representing the company as the first point of contact for technical enquiries relating to our client's software.
Reviewing the scope of the issue the client is facing and determining the best course of action.
Developing and maintaining technical expertise all areas of product usage and functionality to effectively advise customers.
Researching, documenting and escalating cases according to ISO9001 processes.
Staying in contact with key accounts to provide follow-up advice and best practice on how to most effectively benefit from the software.
Providing customer driven feedback to product management in order to influence future product enhancements.
Displaying a friendly, engaged, positive attitude . You are someone who take a pride in being approachable, respectful, knowledgeable and keen to learn.

Required experience

Experience providing customer support or using strong communications skills in German and English to help others. German language fluency is essential.
Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a Scientific field linked to IT.
Previous recent ( last 2-3 years) experience in C/C is essential ideally on Linux and Windows OS.
Outstanding customer support skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
A flair for teamwork and collaboration in a medium sized team environment.
Excellent presentational skills, both written and verbal.
Organized and dedicated approach.
Strong attention to detail.
