Business Administrator

A global trading company are looking for a Business Administrator to support with asset management administration in one of their group companies.

*Asset Management administration for a group of investment companies
*Liaising and coordinating with third party contractors who carry out book keeping, accounting, auditing and taxation services for the investment companies
*Ensure accuracy of management data including analysis and understanding of variance.
*Liaison with head office in Japan and dealing promptly with requests and queries.
*Monthly and biannual management accounting and reports with support of external third party contractors
*Payment processing and liaising with the banks and ensuring payment control
*Ensure statutory compliance is followed with external third party contractors
*Tax filing and auditing - corporation and VAT with support from external contractors
*VAT processing on a quarterly basis
*Attendance at Board Meetings in Luxembourg
*Support with preparation of the annual budget

Skills and experience:
Strong Excel and IT skills
Understanding of accounts and taxation (VAT/ Corporate tax).
Strong data analysis and variance analysis skills.
Good time and task management with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Systematic attitude to work and processes
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent customer service and liaison skills
Accurate and proven numerical skills
Japanese - desirable

  • Key Responsibilities: * Managing the entire lending process from application through to drawdown to include oversight of the underwriting and due diligence processes. * Action new lending requests for bridging loans and analyze the creditworthiness * Prepare detailed credit proposals for submission to the Credit Committee * Preparing offer documentation and ensuring all loan conditions are met throughout the drawdown process * Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria * Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations * Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk, and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors, and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process * Candidates MUST have proven working experience within the BRIDGING AND / OR DEVELOPMENT FINANCE sector and will previously have held an UNDERWRITING MANDATE. Key Requirements: * Minimum of three years bridging underwriting experience * Excellent analytical skills. * Ability to structure transactions based upon the market sector, asset, and security. * Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage time. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Creative thinker and willing to work in an agile growing company
