German speaking Client Manager

A leading global accountancy firm and provider of cross-territory financial outsourcing is expanding their client management team. My client is looking to hire German speakers with experience of handling complex client portfolio workflows and team management.

The Client Manager position reports into the global business services team based in the London office, but also involves a lot of international liaison with senior colleagues and third parties such as auditors.

The firm's rich history is reflected through their varied and international clientele, and has consistently upheld and maintained a diverse UK portfolio with a reputation for providing advice to both entrepreneurs and internationally listed companies across 80 territories.

Duties include but are not limited to:

*Managing the workflow of a varied client portfolio
*Completing quality control reviews
*Reviewing VAT returns/registrations, management reports, payment runs, client billing process
*Implementation of new clients, not always with the support of senior management
*Management of junior members of staff

Skills required:

*Full professional working fluency in German, both written and spoken
*Technical and in depth knowledge of workflows, and a thorough understanding of the demands of the role in relation to client requests
*Ability to deliver projects to an accurate and timely manner
*Being able to deal with queries when they arise, and escalate to senior management as appropriate
*Good communication skills - both written and spoken
*Previous experience of team management

About me: I’ve always wanted a career that centered around working with people and one that presented me with new challenges every single day. Learning a language is so much more than the words on a page because you also find out a lot about the culture attached to it. I started studying Spanish at school and enjoyed it immensely from the offset, involving myself in two Spanish drama productions and choosing to continue learning it until the end of Sixth form. Having family and friends based in Italy allows me to travel there regularly, taking full advantage of the wonderful cuisine every time I go!

I would say that my  main hobby is lacrosse. Training/competing still occupies a lot of my spare time.

If I were a famous person, I would be: Adele – her voice is amazing and she’s so down to earth

Fun fact:  I was once interviewed for an article that was published in Miss Vogue
