Head of Sales

Our client is a rapidly expanding French-US SaaS joint venture. They are seeking a Head of Sales to lead a team of Account Execs and SDRs and to implement a high growth outbound sales strategy. The role reports into the VP Sales based in the US.

You must have a fantastic level of written and spoken English as well as fluency in French.

Offices are based in Montpellier, but this role can be fully remote if you prefer.


You will be responsible for building, leading, coaching and growing the EMEA sales organization of account executives. The current sales team consists of 8 team members who are responsible for developing enterprise accounts in France and across Europe.

Day to day duties include:

  • Grow, develop, and manage the sales team with consistent and effective direction
  • Mature and continually adapt the sales methodology for the end to end sales motion
  • Develop the target list of prospects and develop a compelling outreach strategy
  • Formulate clear territory, vertical, and named account assignments
  • Support go-to-market campaign execution
  • Grow and close the pipeline of business in-line with company targets
  • Consistently and persistently drive top of funnel activity
  • Coach your team to understand their prospect’s business, tease out and document their drivers, and build winning business cases
  • Move your team through a sales cycle, maintaining flexibility, motivation, and achieving of results
  • Rapidly establish a trusted advisor relationship with prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all activity is documented and up to date in CRMs
  • Deliver regular management information reports with clear analysis


Profile required

  • Solid background in successful SaaS sales with demonstrable experience in sales leadership roles
  • Proven track record of meeting targets, growth, and development of teams
  • Significant experience in Product-Led Growth environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the confidence required for public speaking
  • Strong experience with applying sales methodologies and adopting best practices
  • Proven track record of partnering successfully with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams


Salary: 150K€ - 200K€ package with a 60/40 split
