Sales Manager - Media Technology

Our client is a leading provider of PR- and Media Management software. Their clients include marketing & communication professionals, PR Managers and journalists from all different types of industries. Due to growth within the company they are now expanding and recruiting for a Sales Manager to work on the DACH region. The role is based in Frankfurt am Main and reports to the Head of Sales Germany.

 

Sales Manager (m/f) – Media Technology

Permanent Position / Frankfurt am Main
 

Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Sales Manager it will be your responsibility to generate business from acquiring new customers and clients as well as growing and managing already existing accounts. It will be your goal to achieve revenue targets and to grow market share. Your clients come from all different industries and are mid- to large size companies. You will build a strong relationship with your clients through both inside- and field sales activities.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
  • Win new customers as well as cultivate and develop existing clients
  • Achieve sales targets by selling the full portfolio of products and services across Germany
  • Be in charge of the whole sales cycle from A-Z
  • Consultative selling to clients
  • Represent your company at fairs and events

 

Your profile

The new Sales Manager should be a driven and motivated person. It is vital that you easily connect to new clients over the phone as well as in person and that you enjoy the contact. Sales, new business development and customer service should be second nature to you.

The ideal candidate should also have the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar client facing sales role
  • Ideally a track record in selling web based products
  • Great sales skills and experience in presenting and negotiating
  • Experience and/ or knowledge in PR, communication or media is of advantage
  • Ideally an interest in online, social media and new technologies
  • Fluent German and good English skills
