Our client is an international provider of internet and network solutions. With a large range of products, their customers come from either private households, small and medium – sized businesses as well as service providers. They are currently looking to fill the position as Account Manager.


Account Manager - Channel

Permanent Position / Würselen near Aachen

Key Responsibilities

As Account Manager it is your main responsibility to grow and maintain the Channel business in the relevant market area. In this position you should actively seek opportunities to sell the full product portfolio into existing and new accounts. You will report directly to the Head of Channel.

Your day – to – day tasks include

  • Finding new VARs in the strategic and vertical segments to be added to the portfolio
  • Managing a number of existing customers and growing their business
  • Driving upsell and cross sell business
  • Proactively recruiting new and existing customers onto training programmes
  • Promoting all channel activities and promotions into the partner base
  • Other tasks as reporting and day to day administration

Your Background:

As new Account Manager you should be experienced in Internal Sales / Account Management, ideally within the IT networking industry. You should be motivated and willing to call out to both warm und cold leads. Our client is looking for a great team player who is able to work in a fast – paced work environment.

Your profile

  • Experience of Sales, Client Services or Account Management ideally within the IT Industry
  • Ability to spot opportunities and qualify these appropriately
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Result oriented
  • Fluent German and English
