About the role:
This position will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Major Accounts bidding and business pursuit activities for EMEA. The BOM will ensure timely responses to defined RFI's ,RFQ's and tenders.
The incumbent will be the process owner to project pursuit activity, management of resources, decision maker around resource investment to return activity. This role will ensure full customer database management and transition to in life trading activities.
The incumbent will provide statutory compliance, risk management to inform and support the bid team and will work closely with the business to deliver quality and timely tender resources in support of the delivery of the market share and volume plan for EMEA.
Lead and manage the back office tender support team to ensure compliance on
Process setting, guidance and owner to approach/steps and execution of bid and tender processes
Management, tracking, and decision making on portfolio of bid, pursuit and tender activity.
Identify and resolve issues, and gaps in support to customers. Escalate key matters as required - reach out across the organization at key times.
Assessment of risk statement
Establish business performance KPIs, and ensure continuous improvement cycle deployed.
Set approach, monitor and enhance. Provide process and project framework. Establish a consistent approach, and raise quality of customer interactions.
Investment (people/time) optimization of MA resources, and ensuring effectivity and productivity is maximized.
Lead development and performance tracking - with review cadence and KPI metrics performance set.
Fast turn around times, enhance quality of tender/bidding.
Degree or Equivalent
5-7 years' experience in team management is key for this role, We are looking for strong nurturer, motivater and inspiring leader with a proven management backgroun along with the coordination of bidding and tendering in a competitive environment. Combined with project management skills and ability to create professional documentation utliising proposal software such as InDesign or similar
Strong commercial skills, experience of competitive tendering. Capacity to make clinical assessment around probability of success, and to see the key factors/requirements to achieve success with the specific customer/project.
Ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
Ability to work across multiple business functions to ensure the best understanding of business opportunities to enable decision making.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, providing insight and driving decision making.
Able to set structure and provide project tracking and management skills., effective time management and strong organization skills.
Due to the international working environment, candidates with a 2nd European language would be preferred. This is an excellent exciting role where you will help build and create a solid team and optimise performance. Role to start ASAP. Office based.
