Known for delivering high value, insightful summits and content to CSOs, CTOs and CIOs globally , this virtual and physical events specialist is looking to hire an ambitious, internationally minded Business Development Manager to win new and grow existing partnerships with sponsors. Their global portfolio makes language skills valuable; French or Spanish fluency would be ideal here alongside outstanding English.
They have built partnerships that have helped to build brands, raise awareness and create buzz around a market projected to be worth $350bn by 2026; Cybersecurity. This role will take responsibility for doing that within an entrepreneurial, positive culture of self development and ownership in London (3 days per week in the office currently).
Following initial training and mentoring from someone who has built a network of sponsors that reads like a sector who's who, you'll independently and organically develop existing relationships, spotting opportunities to propose new products and initiatives that will make a difference through the delivery of creative sponsorship packages. You'll travel to and attend planned physical events (the company has had the agility to switch to virtual based on location and current local restrictions) and be comfortable meeting face to face to deepen relationships.
You'll be confident writing compelling proposals and making impactful presentations in English; a further European language is a big plus, French and Spanish in particular.
The first questions asked will be how you've demonstrated the capability to sell through your communication skills, ability to deliver a clear message, negotiate and close effectively.
Success in sales is a must here alongside the above. An interest or experience in cybersecurity and/or the wider tech sector is also a must. A basic salary of up to £30k is on offer for the right person and there is a commission structure that can realistically take you earnings over £50k in total as well as a warm welcome, premium product and opportunity to travel.
