Events Assistant - Job Description
Start Time: ASAP

We are looking for a motivated, quick learner to join our events company. This role is best suited to someone with high attention to detail as well as being a strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships throughout the business. This exciting opportunity involves quickly becoming a fundamental cog in our business. The candidate will learn about how a conference company operates getting involved in the organisation and build-up of events while working in the logistics department.

The new-starter must be interested in event coordination and have a desire to succeed in this field. They must understand that the role involves hard working, proactivity, attention to detail, numeracy skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team. Depending on performance, there will be a potential for career growth.

Duties and responsibilities include:
*Preparing and distributing events logistical information
*Obtaining sponsor material
*Updating the company's website with sponsor materials
*Answering sponsor related queries
*Preparing, sending and coordinating sponsorship agreements ready for the Director to sign
*Proofing the event magazines and brochures
*Preparing signage and stage graphics
*Pre-event tasks (printing badges, place cards etc.)
*Coordinating deadlines with our design and sponsorship team
Training for all tasks will be provided.

*Strong office and administrative skills, including MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
*Proactive attitude
*Meticulous attention to detail
*Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
*Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Experience in an Administrative/Events environment would be a bonus.
