Global Account Manager - Nordics/German/UK

Global Account Manager - £35K - £40K basic commission - London based - Hybrid



Our client, who is experience steady growth and expansion is looking to appoint a new Account Manager/Bidder to join their friendly dynamic team. They undertake mostly qualitative research across multiple markets, helping clients to identify and capitalise on insights within the consumer, B2B, technology and healthcare industries.



You will be a client-focused and determined professional with a minimum of 2 years of business development or account management experience in market research or a similar industry. You will need to demonstrate consultative sales skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships, produce accurate quotes to tight timelines and close deals. You should be a highly motivated individual who is able to contribute to our ambitious growth plans. You will receive commission on the gross profit from projects that you sell.



Some of your key responsibilities will be to:



● Review inbound requests for quotation, acknowledge receipt and determine feasibility by conducting desk research and/or reaching out to potential suppliers. Where you determine that an request is feasible prepare and submit a quote

● After submitting a quote, follow up with clients to confirm receipt, answer questions and make any revisions necessary

● Through this process build a relationship with a portfolio of key clients, understanding their market research plans and needs and encouraging them to use your organisation as a trusted supplier

● Where time permits, reach out to lapsed clients and potential new clients with the aim of building relationships to grow the client base.

● Assist with enhancing our internal systems to streamline the quoting process, ensuring that correspondence relating to quotes is filed for future reference and being part of the implementation team for our new CRM



Key qualifications

● At least 2 years' successful experience in account management, business development and/or sales in a relevant business

● Excellent sales and interpersonal skills plus strong organisation and planning skills

● Second European language, i.e German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and knowledge of market research desirable, but not essential.

English to near native standard both written and spoken is essential for the role.

Candidates will need to be business savvy & culturally aware as dealing with clients all over the world will require exposure and knowledge of working with international markets .

The role is to start ASAP, you will work 3 days in the office, a few minutes away from Kings Cross.
