International Sales Manager German/French speaking

A global digital marketplace and SaaS that operates across a range of specialised verticals for the auctioneering industry, including Art and Antiques, Classic Cars, Industrial & Commercial, and Consumer Retail Returns, Is seeking an ambitions Sales Managfer to join them on a permanent basis, in the heart of the city.

The company continues to transform some of the last markets in the world not to have moved meaningfully online. With teams in the US, Canada, the UK and most recently, Germany, their mission is to lead this move and, through tech innovation and digital expertise, drive the transformation of the exciting world of auctioneering.

The role of International Sales Manager sits within the Arts and Antiques division. This division sits in the vast space between eBay and Sotheby's/Christie's, bridging the gap between items worth £50 and £50,000 and we have bidders from across the world.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The International Sales Manager will expand and increase the revenue from International advertising for the Antiques Trade Gazette, Antiques Trade Gazette online and thesaleroom.com.

· To meet and exceed targets for the International advertising section of Antiques Trade Gazette

· Selling on, developing and executing new advertising ideas for features and opportunities across the year.

· To achieve and exceed targets for digital marketing, thesaleroom.com and antiquestradegazette.com

· Key client account management for both media sales and thesaleroom.com relationship

· Maintain excellent relationships with the key auctioneers in France and Germany

· Development of new business with a focus to fall on International art and antique dealers

· Plan, prepare, & execute effective business visits to designated sales territories in Europe.

· Ability to work under pressure and to deadline



To be considered for this role you must:
Speak French to a native level, though French & German would be an advantage as this role focuses on both territories

Be innovative

Have some interest in the world of antiques, the background where you come from is not necessarily important, as long as you have some knowledge of media sales and advertising space
