Operations Manager - Exhibitions

I am currently working with a leading exhibition company that specializes in creating captivating and innovative experiences for their clients. With a strong track record of successful exhibitions and events, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and exceeding their clients' expectations. They are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join their dynamic team.


As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our exhibitions and events. Your role will involve managing and coordinating the various teams involved in the setup, execution, and breakdown of our exhibitions. You will work closely with our clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth running of all operations, from logistics and venue coordination to health and safety compliance.



Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute all operational aspects of our exhibitions and events

- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their expectations are met

- Manage the logistics of transportation, equipment, and materials to the exhibition venues

- Oversee the setup and breakdown of exhibition stands, ensuring they are completed on time and to the required standards

- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and design, to ensure seamless execution of exhibitions

- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on budget

- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness

- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the exhibition or events industry

- Strong knowledge of exhibition operations, logistics, and venue coordination

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results

- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including MS Office and project management software
