Sales Development Specialist - German Speaking

Startups like to describe themselves as disruptive, innovative, game changing. Heard it all before? This time, we're working with a fast growth tech business that actually is disrupting how we book travel through a simple innovation that will change the fun and games of booking travel online that fits your budget.

To do that for more of us, they need to add to their international sales team based in central London. Germany is a key market that they're about to make a major impact on and fluent written and spoken German is a must for this role along with some commercial experience; could be an internship or a first experience in a sales environment.

Your goal every day will be to arrange for Sales Execs to demonstrate how the tech works to German travel businesses. It's a fun, multilingual place to work; the team enjoy lunches, meditation and other activities together. They also train, improve and hit targets together.

They'll invest in your development as a sales professional and open doors for you, as long as you're committed to being as successful as you can be and open plenty of doors for the team. Career paths are clear, training is a daily ritual.

You're part of a mission here and joining at the right time as the business scales up. A basic salary of between £25,000 and £28,000 is on offer dependent on how much experience you've gathered to date and £5,000 is a realistic expectation in commission and bonuses.

If you'd like to be a key part of how they make online booking better for German travelers, get in touch.

About me: Placed by Euro London as a fresh Law & German graduate in 2001; this took me back to Germany (Düsseldorf) and gave me the skills and knowledge necessary to build a career here when returning to London in 2004. I remain a cricket and beer enthusiast but brewing kit and bat and ball are in storage while the children are small.

Fun fact: I once appeared on prime time Saturday night TV in Lederhosen as part of a German dance troupe
