European Channel Sales Manager, Spanish and Portuguese speaker SMMB/337292 Urgently seeking an experienced European Channel Sales professional to join the UK head office of a leading European company operating in the automotive industry. The key countries on which the role will focus include Spain and Portugal. Your role will be to manage and motivate existing distributors as well as find new viable distributors and negotiate the most favourable terms possible. This is primarily an office based role but with some opportunity for travel. The company offers continuous development in an international environment and an attractive salary with an uncapped commission structure. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Be able to demonstrate the company's products in order to educate and provide guidance to the distributors' sales and support staff *Establish and maintain good relationships with the existing distributors and their sales staff and be their 'trusted advisor' for all queries *Manage existing distributors and ensure they meet targeted license sales commitments for new business and renewals *Proactively seek new business opportunities with potential new distributors and negotiate best terms possible for sales of the licenses *Identify new areas for sales growth and drive these sales opportunities through to a successful conclusion *Understand the demands of end customers in the different markets you manage in which the company's products are sold and provide feedback to the product development team in order to ensure the products remain current and of the most value to the customers KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE *Successful software or data sales experience with proven track record *Experience in managing and motivating distributors/ third party resellers *Experience in new business development with a proven track record *Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese *IT literacy including Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Suite & Webex *Knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales professional looking to use their expertise and initiative in a fast-paced, international environment and grow within a company on a long-term basis.
