A global leading events company is currently hiring for a Temporary Sponsorship Sales Manager. You will be leading a team with securing sponsorship and exhibition revenue for the next big summit.
What your responsibilities will be:
Gaining new clients and developing existing clients to identify needs, develop demand and sell packages (single and group) to the event's target market group.
Identify and qualify new leads.
Develop sales tactics as well as managing on-going sales initiatives, including organisation with the conferences and exhibition marketing managers of the sponsorship marketing (online and offline) campaign and relationships with relevant external partners that can help promote the events to vendors.
Take full ownership of your assigned clients, revenue targets, new business development and reporting.
Travelling to attend the event
*Have excellent telephone sales manner with consistently high call rates.
* Have at least 3-4 years' experience in B2B conference sponsorship and exhibition sales, ideally in the energy sector.
* Have experience with contract management, budget management, and proposal writing.
* Be able to cross and up sell opportunities and products.
