Personal Assistant (Any EU Language)

My client is a well-established legal firm looking to hire an experienced personal assistant to support their Private Client team. The ideal candidate should be fully fluent in English, with fluency in German being preferred and not essential.
You should have a personal interest in the legal sphere and should be looking to expand your expertise by taking full advantage of the opportunities offered by the work carried out by the Private Client team.
This mid size firm pride themselves on their personal approach to each and every client, and offers a broad range of legal services to organisations of all sizes.

*Preparation and filing of all forms of legal documents
*Editing documents, along with some audiotyping
*Data entry and maintenance for relevant teams as well as assistance with file management.
*Third party liaison by telephone, email and letter, for work related matters, including promotion of marketing and business development. Telephone manner must be efficient and professional.
*Generally managing the day-to-day administration of client matters
*Full compliance with agreed processes and procedures; to ensure that client confidentiality is not breached
*Preparation of draft bills and legal research
*Liaison with the accounts team when necessary

Required skills:
* Full written and spoken fluency in English, with a preference for an additional fluency in German
* Previous experience within an administrative role
* You are self-motivated, organised, able to work under pressure and think on your feet
* You have a professional approach to all aspects of work - understanding discretion and confidentiality where necessary.
* Strong MS Office skills
* Previous experience within the legal sector preferred

The ideal candidate will be well organised and highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills, fast and accurate typing speeds, strong IT skills and a positive and proactive approach. The role has a considerable emphasis on the legal support and the related administrative work.

I started studying Spanish at school and enjoyed it immensely from the offset, involving myself in two Spanish drama productions and choosing to continue learning it until the end of Sixth form. Having family and friends based in Italy allows me to travel there regularly, taking full advantage of the wonderful cuisine every time I go!

I would say that my  main hobby is lacrosse. Training/competing still occupies a lot of my spare time.
