Our client is an international group of companies. Headquartered in Monaco, they are comprised of two companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) and many private companies. They invest in and operate shipping assets. They provide full technical management and commercially manage a large fleet of vessels from offices across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

They are looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (UK qualified), to join the legal team / financing and transactions and report to the Senior Legal Counsel.

This role can be based in either Monaco or London. Office based (not remote)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of corporate work, within the following areas:

1. Corporate;

2. SEC compliance matters – working together with external counsel;

3. Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and share purchase agreements;  

4. Commercial Contracts.

PROFILE REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE

▪ 1-3 PQE Solicitor – experienced in corporate law from a top 30 UK law firm.

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Trained or qualified from a top 30 UK law firm.

▪ Passed LLB or higher undergraduate degree (English or other common law jurisdiction) with a 2.1.

▪ Graduated from one of the top 20 UK Universities.

Salary: £90K - £100K in London (equivalent in € for Monaco)
