The organisation is currently looking for a Software Development and Support Engineer who wishes to develop experience in supporting clients with their data analytics and web services using our client's proprietary tools and software. The successful candidate will also develop customer specific reporting and dashboards , supporting SDK web services based on client-specific requirements.
*Software development for a new driver display product.
*Introducing and supporting new clients ( Developer to Developer) using our client's APIs.
*Supporting existing customers using Web Services and helping to migrate the client to new systems.
*Specifying and developing customer Middleware applications using APIs.
*Providing technical support to Customer Success and Sales Support teams.
*Gathering customer requirements through close communications with the client, producing and agreeing specifications for developing add-ons, new modules and new functionality.
*Support of existing in-house Web-based applications.
*In this position you would not be involved in full lifecycle software development , which is carried out abroad, rather you will be in charge of UK and EMEA services and applications additional services and dashboards development on behalf of clients and their regional requirements, sometimes involving on-site UK and EMEA travel.
*Good knowledge of Database tools , particularly SQL and NoSQL.
*System Architecture and integration skills.
*Fluent English and French, German or Spanish for communication with clients on-site and remotely is an advantage but not essential.
*Keen, self-motivated , willing to work as part of small team within a large organisation.
*Strong communications skills and a commercial/business understanding for communicating with customers.
*Able to travel occasionally to meet clients on-site.
*Microsoft Office Tools experience including Word , Excel and Access.
*Full clean driving license is an advantage.
