We are currently recruiting for a French speaking Customer Service role on behalf of a client in Eastbourne.

This is an office based role, with a salary of around £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience. The client is looking for a fluent French speaker to help provide support to their customer base in France.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing queries and communication from French speaking customers via phone and email. The role will involve resolving any issues, ensuring orders are processed in a professional manager, updating the customer database accurately and providing customers with the best possible experience. Assisting with the translation and localisation of content on the French website may also be required on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to French speaking customers' queries and feedback.
  • Ensuring calls are handled effectively and align with service level agreements.
  • Contributing to team service improvements.
  • Escalating complaints/issues when necessary.
  • Engaging with customers to promote the company brand, products and services.

What we're looking for:

  • Fluent French speaker.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple workloads.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Problem solving skills
