Your Role as CNC Operator

As a Senior CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls based). You will manufacture prototypes and small series with precision, ensuring each part meets the highest quality standards. Within the machining team, you will work closely with fellow operators, engineers, and production planning, and report to the Production Supervisor.

Your focus will be on delivering every part “First Time Right.”

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls
• Independently producing prototypes and small series
• Performing basic and preventive maintenance on machines
• Setting up and adjusting workpieces and tools
• Programming at the machine or via CAD/CAM
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Performing quality controls and contributing to process improvements

Your Profile

• Secondary education diploma, preferably in a technical field
• Experience with Heidenhain controls is a plus
• Very good knowledge of Dutch, good knowledge of English
• Technical insight and a precise work attitude
• Independent, focused, and quality-oriented (“First Time Right” mentality)
• Good computer skills and team-oriented mindset

Willingness to work in a 2-shift system ( with associated shift premiums):

Early shift: 6:00 AM – 2:15 PM (Friday 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Late shift: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM (Friday 12:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
