Our client is a well-established international B2B services organisation in the Netherlands, known for supporting companies through solution-led commercial models designed to enhance performance, agility, and long-term growth.

They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager based in Utrecht to support the company’s continued strategic expansion and strengthen its presence across the local market.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business activity, developing high-value client relationships, and contributing directly to commercial growth across multiple industries.

This role will suit a proactive and commercially driven business developer who enjoys hunting for new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and operating in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach and convert new B2B clients 
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Sell the company’s full range of products and service solutions using a consultative sales approach.
  • Build and expand strategic partnerships with external consultants, introducers and market allies to support lead generation and accelerate business opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth by consistently achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients to ensure long-term business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a high-quality customer experience and effective delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and commercial opportunities to support business growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bilingual or native-level Dutch, with fluent English.
  • Previous experience in B2B business development, sales or consultative commercial environments.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable generating new business through cold outreach, networking and relationship building.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous and commercially driven.
  • Ability to thrive in an international and performance-focused environment.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary of up to €51,000 gross per annum, depending on profile and experience.
  • Permanent contract.
  • €600 monthly car allowance.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
  • International and dynamic working environment with strong growth potential.
