Showroom Sales Assistant – Interior Design

Salary: €28,000 – €31,000 per annum + annual bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused sales professional to join a growing design-led business at their new Barcelona showroom. This role is perfect for someone with a background in interior design or high-end retail who thrives in a consultative sales environment and enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences.
You’ll be at the heart of a new international venture, helping to shape a unique showroom experience for trade and retail clients. With full training provided and clear opportunities for progression, this is a great time to join a fast-growing and ambitious team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring everything is ready for customers and operating smoothly
- Welcome clients – both trade and consumer – and provide a personalised, professional service
- Build lasting relationships with industry professionals and guide them through the product range and purchasing process
- Support lead generation by identifying and nurturing new contacts within the design, property, and architectural sectors
- Organise and host events for design professionals, working closely with the wider marketing team to create engaging experiences
- Help ensure showroom targets and sales goals are met through proactive engagement and follow-up
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish + ideally Catalan.
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
- Ideally an interior design or design-focused background
- A confident, proactive approach to building relationships and closing sales
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with wider team goals
- Comfortable with occasional travel to the UK for training and collaboration
