Senior Logistics Coordinator
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Contract: Initially 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong freight, shipping, or supply chain experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.
The Role:
- Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers to regional distribution hubs
- Manage carrier performance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
- Support shipment planning in line with operational schedules
- Ensure all shipping documentation and compliance processes are completed accurately
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage timelines and resolve delays
- Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support reporting, workflow management, and operational planning activities
About You:
- Previous experience within logistics, freight, supply chain, or operations coordination
- Strong understanding of import/export processes and shipment management
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential
