Senior Logistics Coordinator

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £40,000 DOE

Contract: Initially 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong freight, shipping, or supply chain experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.

The Role:

• Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers to regional distribution hubs
• Manage carrier performance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
• Support shipment planning in line with operational schedules
• Ensure all shipping documentation and compliance processes are completed accurately
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage timelines and resolve delays
• Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Support reporting, workflow management, and operational planning activities

About You:

• Previous experience within logistics, freight, supply chain, or operations coordination
• Strong understanding of import/export processes and shipment management
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential
