Senior Business Development Advisor – Disputes (Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations) | Paris

 

Senior BD role within a global Disputes (Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations – LAI) practice, offering strong international exposure and close interaction with partners and global teams.

 

Based in Paris and reporting into London, you will play a key role in driving Business Development strategy within a highly international and collaborative environment.

 

You will lead BD and Marketing initiatives for the LAI practice in Paris, while also acting as a key point of contact for Antitrust & Foreign Investment and IP-TMT, working closely with partners to deliver impactful, globally aligned strategies.

 

This role will suit someone currently working in a law firm BD or Marketing team, looking to step into a more strategic, visible and internationally exposed position.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Execute the LAI BD strategy, linking local and global initiatives to drive growth
  • Develop and grow key LAI client relationships through strategic account support, tailored client engagement and effective CRM coordination
  • Support and deliver high-quality pitches and RFPs, from tailored materials to post-pitch follow-up
  • Identify and respond proactively to emerging market and client opportunities
  • Enhance the firm’s market profile through legal directories, awards and league table submissions
  • Deliver high-quality BD and marketing collateral, supporting campaigns and client events
  • Continuously develop LAI expertise and BD capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with global BD, sector and client teams to ensure high-quality execution

 

Profile

 

  • Experience in Business Development or Marketing within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong exposure to Disputes / Litigation / Arbitration environments is a plus
  • Proven experience supporting pitches, client development and BD strategy execution
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international and partner-facing environment
  • Fluent French and English, both written and spoken

 

Salary & Benefits

 

  • Salary up to €72,000 (13 months) depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus up to 20%
