Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Utrecht Region | €4,000–€5,000 gross per month | Bonus of up to 8% | Full-time

Do you have experience working in a production environment and enjoy leading a team while remaining closely involved in day-to-day operations?

Our client is an international technology company specialising in advanced manufacturing and high-quality materials.

For its production site in the Utrecht region, we are looking for a practical and engagedProduction Supervisor. You will lead a production team and ensure that daily operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with agreed quality standards.

You will work within a facility comprising four specialised production departments. You will allocate tasks, support your team with daily challenges and actively contribute to improving production processes.

This position would suit an experienced Production Supervisor, Shift Leader, Working Foreman, Senior Operator or production professional ready to take on greater responsibility.

A technical qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Practical production experience, natural leadership skills and strong problem-solving abilities are more important.

What will you be doing?

• Lead, support and motivate a production team.
• Coordinate daily production activities and establish clear priorities.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence on the production floor.
• Resolve day-to-day operational and employee-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and production procedures.
• Support and develop employees through feedback, coaching and performance reviews.
• Work closely with the Quality and R&D departments to identify issues and improve processes.
• Contribute to a positive, safe and results-driven working environment.
• Recommend improvements relating to efficiency, quality and delivery reliability.

What are we looking for?

• Fluent Dutch and a good professional command of English.
• Experience within a production, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supervising, coordinating or leading employees.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to feel comfortable on the production floor.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate employees positively.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
• An approachable, solution-oriented and supportive leadership style.
• Experience with ISO standards, quality procedures, MDR or another regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A background in mechanical engineering, production engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or a related discipline would also be beneficial.

What can you expect?

• A gross monthly salary of between €4,000 and €5,000, depending on knowledge and experience.
• An annual bonus of up to 8%, depending on company performance.

Location

The position is based in the Utrecht region and requires you to work on site five days per week.

As Production Supervisor, you will be present on the production floor every day and readily available to support your team. Remote working is therefore not possible for this position.
