We are currently recruiting an Export &amp; Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) on behalf of one of our clients for their office in Cologne. This role is ideal for someone with a background in export and logistics, for example as a Speditionskaufmann, Exportsachbearbeiter, Export-Sachbearbeiter, or Logistics Coordinator, with strong expertise in export documentation and VAT.

<li data-start="1502" data-end="1572">C1/C2 or business-fluent German and English (written and spoken)</li>
<li data-start="1575" data-end="1705">Additional European languages are a plus (Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch),</li>
<li data-start="1708" data-end="1871">Hands-on experience with export documentation for EU and/or non-EU shipments (e.g. ownership transfer, export declarations, MRN, IE599, preference documents)</li>
<li data-start="1874" data-end="1999">Solid understanding of EU B2B VAT for cross-border transactions, or strong motivation to develop expertise in this area</li>
<li data-start="2002" data-end="2089">Confident collaboration with freight forwarders, compounds, and service providers</li>
<li data-start="2092" data-end="2165">Vocational training or degree in forwarding, logistics, export or supply chain</li>
<li data-start="2168" data-end="2234">Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is an advantage</li>

<h3 data-start="2241" data-end="2265">What you&rsquo;ll be doing</h3>
You will manage the daily export workflow for vehicles sold via a B2B platform, ensuring all cross-border logistics are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on documentation quality.
This is not a traditional dispatch role. You will act as the export documentation and VAT expert, ensuring that every vehicle handover is supported by a complete, accurate, and audit-ready evidence pack.
Your responsibilities will include:

<li data-start="2790" data-end="2862">Coordinating vehicle collections with compounds and freight forwarders</li>
<li data-start="2865" data-end="2982">Preparing and validating ownership transfer and deregistration documents according to country-specific requirements</li>
<li data-start="2985" data-end="3090">Compiling export evidence packs (CMR/PoD, ICS, MRN/IE599, invoices, carrier and compound documentation)</li>
<li data-start="3093" data-end="3192">Producing VAT-compliant documentation for B2B net sales and supporting non-EU export declarations</li>
<li data-start="3195" data-end="3303">Performing final quality checks before closing cases in internal systems and ensuring full audit readiness</li>
<li data-start="3306" data-end="3399">Resolving missing or incorrect documentation with buyers, carriers, compounds, and partners</li>
<li data-start="3402" data-end="3512">Identifying risks early, communicating clearly in German and English, and supporting market rollout projects</li>
