Senior Quality Engineer

Our client is an international technology company based in Belgium, specialized in advanced manufacturing and recognized for its expertise in precision production technologies.

The company designs both innovative equipment and customized components for clients in the industrial, medical, and aerospace sectors.

They are now looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer to to support production excellence and customer satisfaction within a high-precision manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on healthcare applications.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in bridging customer requirements and production excellence.

You will ensure that all quality standards are met, risks are minimized, and processes are continuously improved. 

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, and customer support) to document requirements, analyze root causes, manage CAPA investigations, and maintain compliance with international standards.

Fluency English and Dutch (spoken and written) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and document customer requirements to ensure full product compliance.
• Manage customer requests and oversee their smooth integration into production.
• Lead and follow up on nonconformities, customer complaints, and CAPA initiatives.
• Participate in pFMEA and process validation to reduce manufacturing risks.
• Support customer audits and ensure compliance with quality specifications and inspection methods.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on inspection equipment, testing, and documentation methods.
• Maintain strict adherence to ISO 13485, AS9100, and FDA QSR standards.

Key Requirements

• Solid background in Quality Engineering, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in healthcare or high-tech industries such as aerospace or defense.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Good knowledge of ISO 13485 (medical devices), AS9100 (aerospace), and FDA QSR (U.S. regulatory standards).
