Dutch speaking Construction Manager

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Dutch and English speaking Construction Project Manager in Amsterdam on behalf of one of our clients. The company is based in Amsterdam but is involved in projects all over The Netherlands.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from the initiation phase through to completion. You will work closely with the client, design team and engineers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently. This is a hybrid role with frequent visits to construction sites to oversee project completion. The salary range is between 70,000-90,000EUR per year but negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are completed efficiently in terms of time, quality, safety, and budget.

• Coordinate and manage internal project teams and external partners.

• Monitor the design and engineering process in collaboration with designers internal teams.

• Draft and manage project schedules.

• Maintain close contact with clients and other stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

• Report on progress, risks, and results to management.

What we're looking for:

• Native level Dutch and fluent English. German is a plus

• Academic background, ideally in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or similar

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within the construction or infrastructure sector.

• Experience with Design & Build projects.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Experience with contract, planning, and budget management.

• Strong communication skills, decisive, and results-oriented.
