German Speaking Customer Service Agent (FTC)
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm (with occasional Saturday work on a rota basis)
We’re seeking a German-speaking Customer Service Agent to join a friendly and supportive multilingual customer care team based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone fluent in German and English who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering a high standard of service.
The role offers hybrid working, a structured training programme, and the chance to build valuable experience within a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries in German and English via phone, email, and live chat.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and orders.
- Handle customer complaints and enquiries efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve issues and follow up as needed.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure timely responses.
- Support the wider customer service team in achieving service targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Previous customer service experience preferred (office, retail, or contact centre).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Confident using computers and managing multiple systems.
- A positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
